Prove It!

Putting Assessment to Use
The demand for proof echoes throughout higher education, and you are now tasked with demonstrating a measurable impact on student development. Assessment will determine the future of programs, budgets and careers. Although the field is making progress, the task remains complicated. It’s time for a simpler answer.
Prove it!
is an intensive training experience that helps student affairs professionals address the need for assessment. Learn how to transform your departmental mission into clear and concise learning outcomes. Gain new insight on how to measure what you used to think was immeasurable. Develop a simple system for collecting, managing and analyzing data, and learn how to use your results to critique and adjust your efforts. At the end of the day, you will leave with new resources, stronger analytical skills and a basic template for your department’s own formal assessment strategy.
